Emotional trauma can cause dis-ease within the body. As we experience each life trauma, we store those imprints within each chakra or organ system creating stress and tension I the body. Even when the situation isn't ours, it leaves a blueprint. Water holds memory and the human body is made up of 60% of water. When emotions arise, allow yourself to feel it but then allow it to go. Don't hold onto it.
The best way to relieve emotional trauma is through breathing. Practice inhaling in the nose for 4 seconds, nice and slow. Then, exhale slowly out of the mouth for the same amount of seconds. When we are stressed, it interferes with our oxygen causing a lack of air which causes our body to keep hold of tension. Hence the expression, fight or flight! |
