A yin based practice that is designed to not only work the body on a deep level with longer holds, but also work the mind with a meditative quality to the practice. This class is for all levels. Athletes can benefit from the deep connective tissue work. Beginners will gain confidence in creating greater body awareness and flexibility.
This meditative practice is also known as Enlightened Sleep. You lie down on your back. Your body and mind sleep but consciousness remains awake. It is deeply restorative, replenishing and healing.
An evening event that soothes the soul! A yin practice is a practice where we hold the poses for several breaths or more. We get deep into the connective tissues to promote greater flexibility and wellness. Typically offered in the evening, we then create an ambiance of peace with candlelight and soft music. An event for the senses!
